Very informative sessions chaired by engaging speakers who bring to bear significant the real life Vietnam experience. The conference format and break out sessions allows for effective networking. A great introduction to investing in Vietnam.
Tariq Ahmed, Associate, General Atlantic
I have traveled the world attending conferences on this subject, and this was among the very best. Excellent speakers, excellent programme, excellent event. Well done IQPC!

Insightful. Very Informative about the current situation in Vietnam.
Udit Gambhir, Associate Director, Fund Services, Amicorp
Currently demand overrides supply in the Vietnamese real estate market. There is a shortage of office space, middle income residential properties and grade A hotels. Given recent market conditions such as inflation and lack of funding local developers are finding it hard complete their projects while owners are finding it difficult to sell their properties.
The real estate market is seeking foreign investment now more than ever. Due to high interest rates and expensive local lending options Vietnamese developers are eager to for foreign investment. All the while global investors and speculators are taking advantage of the lucrative opportunities in the real estate market. For example developers such as Keppel Land, Banyan Tree and Oak Tree are currently building multimillion dollar projects around Vietnam.
Vietnam Real Estate 2008 is IQPC’s third conference in the Alternative Investments Vietnam series. This series was previously attended by companies such as Vina Capital, DBS Bank, BVIM, Dragon Capital, Deutsche Bank, Ernst & Young, Manulife, Deloitte & Touche, Goldman Sachs, and Indochina Capital. Vietnam Real Estate 2008 will attract both local and global fund managers, institutional investors, property developers, real estate trusts, investment bankers and property consultants. The conference will provide a platform for local developers, foreign investors, and regulators to strategize on how to optimally receive foreign investment.
